Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls;

Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought and action
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

India is my country and all Indians are my brother and sisters. I love my country and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage. I shall always strive to be worthy of it. I shall give respect to my parent, teachers and to all elders and treat everyone with courtesy. To my country any my people I pledge my devotion. In their well-being and prosperity alone, lies my happiness.
